MineMatrix is the Minecraft network at minematrix.lol, its store at store.minematrix.lol, and this website. It's run by an independent operator based in Spain, and that operator decides what happens with the data described here — which makes them the data controller for it.

This website
The website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and has no advertising or tracking scripts. That's also why there's no cookie banner — Spanish law only requires consent for cookies that actually get set, and we don't set any.
Loading a page does make requests to four places outside our servers, and each of them sees your IP address as a normal consequence of that:
- Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com) serves the Outfit typeface.
- Cloudflare cdnjs serves the Font Awesome icon set.
- api.minematrix.lol (store.minematrix.lol/api), our own API, provides the player counter on the home page.
- api.mcsrvstat.us is queried only if our own API doesn't answer, as a fallback for the same counter. It runs under its own privacy policy.
Vote links and the store link send you to other companies' websites, which have their own policies.
Our web host keeps standard server logs (IP address, page requested, time, browser) for security and troubleshooting.
The Minecraft server
Connecting to the server records:
- Your in-game name and the UUID your client sends.
- Your IP address, which is unavoidable — it's how a connection works — and is also used to spot ban evasion and alt abuse.
- When you log in and out, and which gamemode you played.
- Public chat, commands you run, and staff notes about you.
- Punishments: what, when, who issued it, and why.
- Your in-game progress: inventory, balance, claims and stats.
We use it to run the server, moderate it, restore items after a bug, and enforce bans. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a functioning, moderated game server, and performing the agreement set out in our terms.
The server runs in offline (cracked) mode, which means names aren't verified by Mojang. Anything recorded against a name is recorded against whoever was using it.
The store
Payments are handled by PayNow, our payment provider. Card numbers and payment details go to them and their processors — they never touch our servers and we never see them. PayNow runs under its own privacy policy and is a separate controller for the payment itself.
What we receive and keep from a purchase: the transaction ID, what was bought, the in-game name it was delivered to, the amount, the date, and the email address on the receipt if one was given.
We keep it to deliver what you bought, handle support and refunds, defend chargebacks, and meet accounting and tax obligations.
Discord
Our Discord server is run on Discord's platform, under Discord's own privacy policy and terms. If you link your Discord account to your in-game name for roles or rewards, we store that pairing. Support tickets you open there are readable by staff and kept while the issue is open.
How long we keep things
- Chat and connection logs — about 90 days, then deleted.
- Punishment records — while the punishment is active, plus a history of previous ones so repeat offences can be judged fairly. Permanent bans are kept permanently.
- Purchase records — up to 7 years, because tax and accounting rules require it.
- In-game data — until you ask us to delete it, or the gamemode is reset.
- Website server logs — short-term, at our host's default retention.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, give you a copy, correct it, delete it, or stop a particular use of it. Email [email protected] with your in-game name from an address we can reply to. We answer within 30 days and don't charge for it.
Two honest limits. We can't delete purchase records while tax law says to keep them, and we won't delete an active ban record on request — that would defeat the point of the ban. Everything else goes.
We're established in Spain, so our lead supervisory authority is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD, aepd.es). You can complain to them, or to the data protection authority in your own country if you live elsewhere in the EU. We'd rather you email us first and give us a chance to fix it.
Younger players
Minecraft servers attract younger players and this one is no different. We don't knowingly collect more from a child than from anyone else — the list above is the same for every player.
Under Spanish law (LOPDGDD, article 7) a child aged 14 or over can consent to their own data being processed. Below that age we need a parent or guardian's consent, so if you're under 14 and playing here, ask a parent before you carry on.
Anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian's permission before spending money in the store. If you're a parent and your child bought something without asking, email [email protected] and we'll refund it and remove the items.
Who else sees it
We don't sell data and we don't share it for advertising. It reaches other parties only in these ways:
- PayNow — payment processing.
- Our server and web hosts — they store the data on their machines.
- Discord — if you use our Discord.
- Server list sites — only when you choose to vote on one.
- Law enforcement — where we're legally required to, or where there's a credible threat to someone's safety.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and anything significant is announced in Discord. Continuing to play after a change means you accept it.
